Auditions
We audition each year for emerging artists
to participate in our Telstra Wholesale Young Artist Program, and for the roles
and chorus in our main-stage opera production. Our artists also perform at
corporate events.
The age range for the program is 18-35
years old.

Auditions for the 2011 program will take
place at The Opera Centre, 480 Elizabeth St, Surry Hills, Sydney NSW 2010 on
the following days this year:
Saturday Sept 25 9am
to 6pm
Saturday Oct 2 9am

to 6pm (call backs)
You can register below to be on our
database and you will receive an email when we call for applications in
mid-August 2010. You will be asked to fill in and submit a form and the Auditions Manager will contact suitable candidates to confirm an audition time. The main-stage production for 2011 will be The Magic Flute
by Mozart
Notes:

A $25 administration fee will be payable in cash at your audition.
Credit cards will not be accepted. A receipt will be issued.

You will be required to prepare 3 arias including one in English
(in translation if preferred).

The panel may choose to hear 1, 2 or all 3 of your arias

The main-stage production for 2011 will be The Magic Flute by Mozart. Please feel free to bring an aria
from that opera.

An accompanist will be provided.
