Dame Joan Sutherland Scholarship 2010
Pacific Opera is pleased to announce that the
Australian Opera Auditions Committee will direct the Dame Joan Sutherland Scholarship to our major production in
2010. This is very positive news as it will allow the scholarship to support the development of up to 40 young artists next year.
Italian Opera Foundation Scholarship 2010
In acknowledgement of Pacific Opera's wonderful support of young Australian operatic talent, and of Italian opera in particular Chairman of the Italian Opera Foundation, Mr Nick Scali and the Board of IOFA have awarded Pacific Opera an Italian language tuition award. The award will comprise twelve months Italian tuition under the auspices of the IOFA.
